We would like to thank you for the many applications to monitor the cultivation of our high GABA tomato “Sicilian Rouge High GABA”, which has been bred using genome editing technology.
We received more than 5,000 applications, far more than we expected, and as of the 26th of February, we have closed the free seedling distribution and the monitoring program.
The 5000 home gardeners will be able to grow their seedlings from mid-May onwards and enjoy the world’s first Highgaba tomatoes at the beginning of July.
